General information on visa to enter Japan is found in the following web page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. https://www.mofa.go.jp/j_info/visit/visa/index.html
We will prepare upon request an invitation letter written in English for your visa application. As a rule, this procedure applies only to the authors of accepted papers who have already paid the registration fees through the conference registration system. We only support visa application for the purpose of attending the conference.
Please follow the steps below for request of an invitation letter.
The Visa Information Form must be sent to the secretariat of ISCS 2023 by January 13, 2023. When you send the form, please also attach a copy of your passport (as a scanned PDF file). Please be noted that it may take a week or more to issue an invitation letter. It may also take time to send you the letter. You are advised to start the process as early as possible.
Since it takes time to obtain a visa after its application, we suggest you to clarify immediately the detailed procedure and the required documents at the Japanese Embassy/Consulate General in your country. Please proceed the visa application on your responsibility.
Regarding the border measures of Japan to prevent the spread of COVID-19, please update yourself with the latest information through the links below.
Requirements for quarantine and visa application documents may differ depending on your departure country and vaccination certificate. Please confirm the requirements on your responsibility.
Kindly confirm the details of your transit visa on your responsibility if you fly to Japan via any other countries. Please also check both the conditions and the period of quarantine of the transit countries.
We are sorry but the ISCS 2023 takes no responsibility for your loss in the case that you need to cancel your flight, hotel, and so on due to COVID-19 or any other reasons.
